• Among the Bologna construction methods, the PASSO series is made using a technique called "SACHETTO" (Italian for "bag"), characterized by a bag-like lining construction as the name suggests. Because it requires meticulous design and advanced lasting techniques, most manufacturers avoid it. By eliminating the insole board and using a flexible Italian bend leather sole, it delivers a soft, comfortable fit. The sole attachment also uses a hidden channel stitch. A thin slit is cut along the edge from the arch to the toe, the McKay stitch is applied, and then the slit is closed again to hide the stitching. This makes the outsole stitching less likely to wear down.
• The upper is made from smooth-textured Italian suede.
• For a better fit, the shoes are designed with a slightly snug feel. If you have high insteps, we recommend going up one size.
