The fit dilemma of slip-ons is solved at the instep.

Unlike lace-up shoes, with slip-ons, choosing the right size = comfort.
People naturally adjust their gait without even realizing it. If you keep wearing the wrong size for long periods, you may start gripping with your toes or constantly tensing them, which can ultimately lead to foot fatigue.

If you try to adjust the fit with an insole, the heel may become too shallow and slip out more easily, or if you insert a half insole, the forefoot volume is reduced and your toes are more likely to rub.
After trying various solutions, we arrived at the POLPETTA Original TONGUE PAD.

The key is to stop the foot from sliding forward by securing it at the instep.
In many cases, toe pain happens because the foot shifts forward while walking, causing the toes to hit the front. By preventing forward slide at the instep, pressure on the toes is reduced and the fit feels more stable.

Perfect for when your shoes feel slightly too big, or when the leather has softened and the fit feels looser.
Of course, it can be used not only with loafers and slip-ons, but also with lace-up shoes.
